Our VacMaster VP230 Chamber Machine provides the same great counter top features as our VacMaser VP220, but with the added power and noise reduction of a 1/2 HP rotary oil vacuum pump!
Like our other chamber machines, it provides the solution to the problem posed by other vacuum packaging machines currently on the market. How to vacuum package liquids and liquid-rich foods? Current machines on the market are suction machines, meaning the air is vacuumed out of a vacuum bag and then the bag is sealed. However, along with air, liquids are also vacuumed out of the bag, leading to partial and even failed seals.
The VacMaster VP 230 Chamber Machine uses a different technology to eliminate this problem. When sealing with our chamber machine, the vacuum bag that will be sealed is placed inside the chamber of the machine and the lid is closed. Air is sucked out of the entire chamber, not just the bag itself, allowing air pressure on both the inside and outside of the bag to remain equal and liquids to stay in the bag. The bag is then fully sealed and air is returned back into the chamber. packaging machines.
In addition, our chamber machine can reach a higher level of vacuum than other vacuum packaging machines. Our VP230 is able to obtain a 27”hg – 29”hg level of vacuum, while other suction machines are only able to obtain a 24”hg – 26”hg level of vacuum.
This machine comes with a filler plate and an assortment of 60 vacuum bags.

Shipper was able to delay delivery by one day so that I could be present for delivery. Box showed up in good condition but the tip-and-tell was activated; I did not refuse shipment and luckily the vacuum machine was not damaged and it works great. I am a home-use sportsman and using a foodsaver was time consuming with marginal results. This machine seals bags one after the other with almost no down time, no fuss, no mess at all even when sealing in saltwater. I’m very happy with it. Also, this VP230 machine IS able to take 12×14 bags just fine.

This machine is great. At the time of my purchase the choices were limited. I was looking for the next size smaller unit, the VP215. I do not regret at all getting the VP230 instead. It has the 1/2 hp vacuum pump. It is only marginally larger on the outside, but it has two inches larger chamber and a 12 inch sealing bar. We fish a lot and have struggled with a regular suction type sealer for years, due to the moisture. This summer while preparing vegetables for the freezer I reached my limit of compassion for the old machine. I wanted the best machine we could afford and the VP230 has been a life saver. On a side note. I work with medical vacuum and I know pumps. I only want an oil filled pump. Both for the quieter operation and the longevity you can expect from the equipment. Also the service and communication from Vacuum Sealers Unlimited is great. I received a phone call from the owner verifying my order and she is very nice and professional. Thank you.

I wish I bought a chamber vac years ago. I bought this unit so that I could by larger meat packers and break them down myself. The unit paid for itself quickly and greatly extends the quality of frozen food. The unit was shipped via fedex freight and arrived in absolutely perfect condition. My ordering process was very smooth and my interactions with customer service have been excellent. Great company, highly recommend.
