Our Mylar bags are 4MIL thick and constructed of rugged aluminum and PET (Polyethylene) layers to form an excellent barrier against light, water vapor, and oxygen.

No need to buy an expensive vacuum sealer!

In the past, Mylar bags and rolls could only be vacuumed and sealed with an expensive chamber vacuum sealer or with the use of hand sealers and oxygen absorbers.  These textured bags and rolls can be reliably vacuumed and sealed with a countertop suction sealer, like FoodSaver, Seal a Meal, VacMaster, Weston, and Cabela’s vacuum sealers.

    They work great in my Foodsaver! I was surprised to see it seals through the small wrinkles. A little paranoid myself, I hit the seal button a couple more times! However time has proven once was enough.
    I make small pouches for my Gatorade. The hot and humid summer in south Georgia makes it start to clump in the plastic bags I have. Looking forward to trying your ultra bags to see if they can hold up to a summer in Georgia! Takes about a year for them to show signs. I shall put them to the test!
